The owner, Carolyn Purchase, embraced spiritual transformation following personal tragedy. Her beloved sister Beverley passed away from leukemia in 2002 which sent Carolyn on a journey of self discovery and spiritual awakening. Eventually she discovered a spiritual connection with her sister, through the presence of angels in our midst. Following many months of spiritual growth and soul searching, she was guided to the possibility of opening an angel store that could assist others in their time of loss. And so, with the loving support of her husband Newman, The Mystic Meadow was created.
Originally located in Berwick, Nova Scotia in an ancient barn, The Mystic Meadow had a certain atmosphere. Walking through this space filled with hundreds of angels, one could only imagine the activities that took place here throughout the years. Regretfully, the space was moldy, and for health reasons, Carolyn closed its doors. In the meantime, Carolyn had started a personal transformation that would lead her to study not once, but twice with Dr Doreen Virtue becoming an Angel Therapist® certified in 2007 and medium certified by Dr. Virtue in Hawaii in 2008.
In 2008, The Mystic Meadow joyfully re-opened in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The product line includes books, CDs, DVDs, crystals, new age and spiritual items. Aside from these unique product lines, wellness readings using Biopulsar Technology, tarot readings, healings, seminars and workshops are offered for assistance on your own personal journey of spiritual enlightenment. Our presenters gladly share their time and energy with us. Our classes range from learning to develop your intuitive abilities, meditation, Reiki, and spirit communication. They all share the belief that we all can communicate with our angels if we just ask and allow.
